Desert Basecamp: A Working Landscape

For Film, Field & Gathering

Cynthia’s Desert Basecamp is a working desert environment in the Amargosa Basin near Death Valley National Park, shaped for field-based learning, creative production, and small, intentional gatherings.

Basecamp offers grounded access to landscape, light, geology, solitude, and space — without losing the practical ease needed to host a group well.

Whether you are bringing students into deep time, filming in desert light, or gathering people for focused retreat work, Cynthia’s Basecamp provides a private, lived-in desert setting with lodging, meals, gathering space, local orientation, and experienced on-site support.
