Full Moon Safari for Women Near Death Valley

Details

A Desert Immersion for Women

This is a curated desert immersion designed exclusively for women—whether you arrive solo, as a mother and daughter, sisters, or a close circle of friends.

It is not simply a tour, but a gathering—set within a vast, pristine desert landscape.

I’m Cynthia, your guide. For over two decades, I have explored this desert largely on my own and have come to understand its unique power—especially for women. There is something here that strips away distraction and returns you to yourself.

If you are open to the experience, you may leave feeling clearer, lighter, and more deeply connected—to your own inner landscape, to those you came with, and to the quiet intelligence of the natural world.

A Designed Desert Immersion at Basecamp

Your immersion unfolds from Cynthia’s Basecamp, where staying on site allows you to move naturally between landscape, conversation, and rest.

With two nights at Basecamp, you settle into a shared rhythm — mornings that begin together, evenings that unwind unhurriedly, and the ease of returning from the desert without interrupting the experience.

Here, your immersion does not begin and end with an outing.
It continues in conversation, in shared meals, and in the quiet between excursions.

Table with Cynthia (Recommended add-on)

Field days in the desert require grounding.

Each morning begins with Morning Table at Basecamp — a hosted breakfast designed to align the day ahead. This is where we review conditions, refine pacing, and adjust based on weather, bloom cycles, and your energy.

On your first evening, Desert Supper provides an unhurried space to settle in and shape the experience ahead.

Menus are prix fixe and tailored to dietary needs — vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, allergy-sensitive, or medically required.

Shared meals are not incidental.
They are part of how immersion deepens.

Booking – Refining Your Safari

Every Woman has a unique takeaway from this adventure, so every booking begins with Hosted Desert Design & Orientation.

During booking, you may select recommended extensions such as:

• Guided Outfitted Expedition
• Additional Hosted Evenings
• Private Focus Sessions (geology, bloom, water systems)

After reserving your safari, we schedule a personal planning conversation — by phone — to refine details together.

Because conditions shift and interests evolve, and women have every right to change their minds, your immersion is shaped collaboratively before arrival and adjusted in real time throughout your stay.

Your investment reflects your immersion enhancements selected during booking, with final refinements shaped together during your planning call.

What to Expect

Be sure to bring layers of clothing, a headlamp, long pants, closed toe shoes, swim suit, and water bottles (2 liters per person at least).  We provide all gear needed for off-roading.  We have a hybrid tech-free zone: WIFI at basecamp, but no cell phone reception within a 40-mile radius.  Your room is like a standard hotel room…only in the middle of the desert.  Basecamp has a common area with a shared refrigerator.  Bring your favorite snacks, lunch items, and beverages.  Water is drinkable at Cynthia’s Basecamp.  Our region is half the size of Belgium, population 435, so there is little human development, most the remnants from the mining heyday.

Payment, Cancellation and General Policies

We accept credit and debit cards. Payment in full is required to secure your booking. We have a 21-day cancellation policy. For additional information, please visit our Terms of Service page.

Itinerary

Day 1Day 1 — Arrival & Orientation

Arrive at Cynthia’s Basecamp, settle in, and get comfortable. Your immersion begins with on-site orientation and alignment with Cynthia, providing context for the surrounding landscape and shaping the days ahead. Setting your intentions at the fire will be evening’s focus.

Recommended enhancements such as Desert Supper, time around the campfire, stargazing, or a hot springs visit may be included based on your preferences and the rhythm we establish together.

Day 2Fun Adventures, Challenges & Full Moon

Begin the day at your own pace and refine plans with Cynthia before heading into the field. Depending on your interests and conditions, your exploration may include a Recommended Guided Off-Road Expedition, curated hiking or walking, time along the Amargosa River corridor.

Recommended Morning Table supports early departures and alignment. Additional meals are arranged independently with local guidance provided as needed.

The evening brings the full moon gathering. It unfolds naturally with the desert as our guide. We will share our wisdom and our concerns in an open, quiet, and unhurried pace.

Day 3Reflection and Departure

Your final morning offers time to gather thoughts, ask remaining questions, and close the experience intentionally before departure.

A short stay, designed to leave a lasting imprint.
